Shareshill Indoor Bowling Information
Times
The social bowls club meets at 19:00 till 21:00 Mondays and Wednesdays evening in Shareshill Village Hall. Alternative arrangements are made for every sixth Monday, when the hall it not available due to the regular Parish Council meeting.
Fees
Annual membership costs £10.00 per year with a fee of £2.50 (increased by 50p March 2022) per session for members, or £1.00 for students (in full time education) with no membership fee.
Visitors are always welcome and pay £3 per session (increased by 50p March 2022), after 4 sessions visitors are expected to join the club if they wish to continue bowling. Visitors are always welcome and we have several pairs of club bowls of various sizes available for them to use.
Indoor Bowling Mat
The club currently owns two 45ft and one 40ft mats, varying between a fast and slow surface. The mats are stored on mat rollers purchases in 2023. The club has for each of the mats two heavy jacks, self aligning centre block, fenders, foot mats and scoreframes.
Club Bowls
The club owns several pairs of bowls that have either been purchased by the club or donated. Any bowls donated are for club use only and will not be sold.
Wednesday Afternoon Bowls
October to March on Wednesday afternoons 14.00-16.00, there will be a social bowls session.
